Zusammenfassung

Omega Resource Group seeks a Senior Product Engineer in Tewkesbury to join a leading aerospace company. You will analyze production data, resolve complex design, assembly and testing issues of production hardware, and contribute to continuous improvement and PPAP submissions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, extensive experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems, PFMEA, control plans, and process documentation, plus Six Sigma training and strong communication

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic principles.
• PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams knowledge.
• Experience in developing assembly and test processes and tooling designs.
• Strong presentation and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of obsolescence management processes.
• Six Sigma trained or equivalent.
• Data analysis skills.

Aufgaben

• Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain process control, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Support product and process changes.
• Technical input using APQP techniques to support new programs and PPAP submissions.
• Gather engineering insight and communicate findings with suppliers and customers.
• Specify new test equipment for product output.
• Support sustainment team to identify issues across software, electronics, and hydraulics.
• Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.
