Omega Resource Group is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer for a high-profile aerospace engineering business in Tewkesbury. You will contribute to resolving complex issues in design, assembly, and testing of hydraulically actuated hardware.

The role offers a springboard to growth across Supply Chain, Product, Process and Mechanical Engineering, with opportunities to develop from fundamental knowledge to support the wider team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Core experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Support build and test processes within an Assembly & Test environment.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Analyze build and performance data to support process optimization.
• Develop and improve existing manufacturing and test processes.
• Use a range of techniques to interpret technical data.
• Support investigations of production issues.
• Partner cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
