Zest Search is helping a fast-growing, AI-native EdTech startup hire a Staff Product Designer to shape learning experiences for teachers and learners. The role is the second designer, reporting to the founders, and involves end-to-end ownership of the product experience.

You'll ship across web and mobile, prototype in code as well as in Figma, and obsess over user outcomes. The team is small and lean, and your work will directly influence the product and the design function as the company

I’m leading a search for a Staff Product Designer at a fast-growing, AI-native EdTech startup building more personalised and engaging learning experiences.

The product is already profitable, with multi-million-pound ARR and a small, lean team. As the company enters its next stage of growth, it’s looking for its second designer to help shape a product used by teachers and learners every day.

You’ll work directly with the founders, own the product experience end-to-end and play a defining role in shaping both the product and the design function.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has shipped B2C products across web and mobile.
• Thinks in products, not screens.
• Is comfortable in an early-stage startup.
• Is AI-native and prototypes in code as comfortably as Figma.
• Loves shipping quickly, learning from users and sweating the details.
• Wants to build something that could genuinely improve how millions of people learn.
