Job summary

Wellio in the United Kingdom is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead design for one squad, owning research, UX, and the design system within six-week build cycles. Our approach blends AI-assisted coding with design delivery, shipping features end-to-end.

You’ll work with PMs, engineers and content to conduct user research, craft clear interface copy, and contribute to an internal design system. This role suits someone who loves great products and thrives in a fast-moving, AI-enabled SaaS

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product design experience shipping B2B SaaS products.
• Full-stack design skills; comfortable in a codebase and using AI tools to ship frontend work.
• AI-native workflow; design with AI tools day-to-day and know its limits.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills that balance aesthetics and usability.
• User research and testing experience to validate design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the design process end-to-end with your squad's PM and engineers.
• Design complete experiences from concept to production and contribute to the design system.
• Build designs in the codebase, using AI coding tools to ship frontend changes.
• Apply AI reviews and collaborate with engineers during code review and constraints.
• Contribute patterns to a scalable design system across the platform.
• Research and discover by observing teachers and students in real classrooms; run user interviews.
