Job summary

Abtrace Limited in London is seeking a product designer to own design within your product area, working with a Product Manager, Engineering Lead, clinicians, and customer-facing teams. You will shape and ship improvements that make Abtrace simpler and more effective to use.

You will translate complex clinical and operational problems into clear experiences, contribute to design systems, and help raise the quality and coherence of the product while embracing a hybrid working model at Paddington.

Qualifications

• Product design experience in a cross-functional team.
• Ability to turn messy problems into clear product decisions.
• Experience shipping end-to-end product improvements.
• Strong focus on clarity, craft, and outcomes.
• Experience with healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship end-to-end product improvements across core workflows.
• Collaborate with clinicians and practice teams to understand real-world usage.
• Translate complex clinical problems into clear, usable product experiences.
• Explore multiple approaches, articulate trade-offs, and choose the best path with product & engineering.
• Contribute to interaction, visual design, content hierarchy, and polish.
• Use research and data to learn from user behavior and improve designs.
• Help grow design systems and shared patterns as the team scales.
