Job summary

Pragmatic Semiconductor in Cambridge is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead product-level characterisation, owning strategy and test coverage for wafer-level validation. You will translate requirements into tests, analyse data, and report findings to project stakeholders in a production-test environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing automated hardware test solutions and wafer-level characterisation.
• RF/Analogue electronics knowledge with practical problem solving.
• Experience with PCB designs and schematic reviews.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, LabVIEW, C#, C++).
• Data analysis and presentation applied to real-world engineering problems.
• Strong understanding of measurement integrity, statistics, variation and uncertainty.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and technically lead a small engineering team, deliver complex test deliverables and data reporting.
• Design and implement RF/Analogue test methods for production test systems.
• Oversee automation hardware/software and integration into Pragmatic systems.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
