Job summary

Wolviston Management Services are seeking an experienced RF Test Engineer to join their engineering team within the semiconductor sector. You will ensure RF/DC wafer‑level testing reliability and develop test methodologies for production and NPI, applying LabVIEW and programming skills to automate tests.

The role involves configuring and improving test hardware and software, analysing data, and training technicians to achieve high-quality, repeatable results in a fast‑paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• HND or degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and improve RF and DC wafer‑level test systems.
• Develop and implement RF test methodologies (S-parameters, Noise Figure, Golden Wafer, Gauge R&R).
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by establishing test capabilities for production.
• Develop and optimise test hardware, software, algorithms and automated test systems.
• Support LabVIEW based test applications development and improvement.
• Specify, procure and commission probe cards and special test equipment.
• Analyse semiconductor test data and produce wafer maps, SPC reports and performance studies.
• Investigate and resolve production test issues to minimise disruption and improve equipment performance.
• Characterise semiconductor devices and perform diagnostic testing.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and test procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to Test Technicians and Production colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, reliability and production performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and safe working practices.
