Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager in the UK to lead procurement activities for major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate tendering, bid evaluation and subcontract documentation with design, construction, commercial and planning teams, delivering robust package recommendations for the JV and Thames.

The role requires excellent communication, strong governance, and a structured approach to manage procurement activities across multiple work

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and other bespoke contracts.
• Previous experience as a procurement lead in construction and line management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across the company and with partners, suppliers and customers.
• Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at different levels.
• A structured and methodical approach to managing procurement activities and documentation.
• A strong attitude to act as a champion to maintain a proper governance of procurement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities with design and construction teams.
• Chair weekly procurement meetings and maintain Master Procurement Plan.
• Lead tender preparation, evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Provide contractual advice on procurement of specialist items and various contracts.
• Maintain governance and drive compliant procurement processes within the JV and with Thames.
