Job Description

As part of the Advisory Services business unit, our Strategic Procurement team emphasizes the importance of developing market-tested procurement strategies that ensure project success by aligning objectives with supply chain partners.

Our goal is to be recognized as a leading provider of strategic procurement advisory services in the UK&I, fostering enduring client relationships and delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality procurement advice to infrastructure clients on flagship projects.
• Lead or support sector-leading projects as a strategic procurement expert.
• Contribute to expanding and improving our procurement services.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality, high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients on procurement strategies, including delivery models, contract strategies, and market routes.
• Manage competitive procurement processes from market engagement to evaluation and negotiation.
• Advise on commercial aspects, category management, and performance metrics.
• Support business development activities, including proposal contributions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years experience leading procurement for complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing the entire procurement lifecycle.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Knowledge of standard contracts such as NEC.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to establish trusted advisor relationships.
• Experience in category and contract management, including SLAs and KPIs.
• Awareness of Public Contract Regulations or similar frameworks.
