National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract to deliver high-standard administrative support within the procurement team.
You will implement and maintain reporting systems, coordinate monthly outputs, manage administration requests, and support the Strategic Procurement Team, while ensuring processes and data are accurate and compliant.

Acting as the first of contact,you’re on hand to ensure the administration of the department is deliveredsmoothly and to the highest standard. You’ll coordinate the team’s duties toplay to their strengths, whilst ensuring they deliver a high-level of customerservice at all times. Taking a particular interest in the management’s needs,you’ll help prepare and circulate documents, as well as conduct research.Finally, you’ll take responsibility for the implementation and maintenance ofthe systems and databases – ensuring they are compliant and accurate.
As the Senior Procurement Administrator, you will be akey player in our procurement team and will lead on a variety of administrativetasks that will ensure yourdepartmentoperatesefficiently.You’lltake the lead onthe reporting requirements for the department.
