Job summary

BlueGate Consulting is seeking a Process Integration Engineer for Greenock, Scotland, to help advance next-generation silicon carbide technologies from concept to volume manufacture. The role involves shaping integration strategies and enabling successful new-product introduction into manufacturing.

You will develop SiC technologies, define specifications, lead cross-functional projects, and drive tape-out activities to ensure robust mass production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, device engineering or optoelectronics experience.
• Strong technical curiosity and structured problem-solving approach.
• Ability to collaborate across functions on complex development programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate SiC technologies, device designs, and integrated process flows
• Define electrical specifications, measurement approaches, and data analysis methods
• Lead project execution and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and support teams
• Drive tape-out activity and transition new products into manufacturing
• Improve yield and mass-production scheduling while simplifying processes
