Job summary

IC Resources Recruitment is seeking a Semiconductor Process Development Engineer in Glasgow. You will join the Technology Development team, defining and refining process modules across patterning, etching, deposition, and metrology to meet stringent performance specifications.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in semiconductor physics, hands-on equipment experience, and proficient data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
• Experience in defining and optimizing process modules (patterning, etching, deposition, metrology).
• Familiarity with DOE and statistical analysis tools.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor process equipment.
• Excellent analytical and technical reporting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop essential process modules in areas such as patterning, etching, deposition, or metrology, ensuring they meet the required specifications for performance and reliability.
• Engage in process optimization, utilizing design of experiments (DOE), data analysis, and conducting defect and failure analysis.
