Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a role based in the Northern Region with flexible working. You will lead process design across major water and wastewater projects, delivering buildable solutions meeting client requirements and regulatory standards.

You will develop process philosophies, calculations and design documentation, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with multi-discipline teams to optimise asset performance throughout delivery and operation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in process design within water and wastewater environments.
• Good understanding of water and sewage treatment principles and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to produce and review process calculations, flow diagrams, design philosophies and technical reports.
• Experience supporting optioneering, feasibility, outline design and commissioning support.
• Experience leading, checking or mentoring engineers within a process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design tasks and packages to agreed technical standards, budgets and programmes.
• Develop process calculations, treatment philosophies, plant layouts and design documentation.
• Support optioneering, process selection, design development and technical decision-making.
• Review and assure process design outputs within your area of authority.
• Coordinate process design with mechanical, EICA, civil, digital, hydraulic and commissioning teams.
• Identify process risks and opportunities for optimisation across design, construction and operation.
• Mentor junior engineers, graduates and apprentices.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, discipline leads, project teams, suppliers and site teams.
