Job summary

ARCADIS is looking for experienced Principal / Senior Process Engineers in Birmingham to enhance its UK Resilience Water team. This role focuses on optioneering and detailed design inputs for major UK Water Companies' frameworks as well as large-scale design and build projects in treatment process engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering, chartered status, and strong technical design experience on multidisciplinary projects, along with knowledge of the Water Industry clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualification.
• Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body.
• Strong technical design experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Good knowledge of Water Industry clients and contractors.
• Knowledge of British Standards and water specifications.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements.
• Prepare outline and detailed design drawings.
• Develop feasibility-level design and optioneering assessments.
• Mentor and support development of less experienced staff.
• Liaise with contractors and project stakeholders.
