Job summary

Malone Group seeks a Senior Process Engineer to manage smaller projects, leading design, procurement and commissioning of hygienic process plants. You will drive mass and energy balances, define specifications, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Role emphasizes project leadership, commercial acumen, and ensuring quality, safety, and meticulous documentation from URS to handover. Based on site in the Burton upon Trent area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Physics Engineering required.
• Experience in Process Engineering and Project management required.
• Strong administrative and PC skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design hygienic process plants to meet customer requirements, addressing process, mechanical, electrical and systems engineering.
• Develop mass and energy balances from raw data.
• Define user requirements and functional specifications.
• Monitor and manage project programmes and progress.
• Oversee commercial management, costing documentation and contract interfaces.
• Procure and specify equipment and sub-contracted activities.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation.
• Train and handover operating plants to customers.
