Babcock is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Rosyth team on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on delivering safe, innovative process designs for marine LNG projects and leading a team of engineers across multiple projects.

You will develop key documents such as PFDs, P&IDs and control philosophies while collaborating with customers, suppliers and shipyards to ensure successful delivery and adherence to safety standards. UK security clearance may be required.

Formación

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered status desirable; 8+ years of experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver safe, innovative process engineering solutions for marine liquefied gas projects, ensuring technical excellence.
• Manage, mentor and provide technical oversight to Process Engineers and Graduate Engineers, reviewing and approving engineering deliverables.
• Develop and maintain process engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, calculations, equipment specs and datasheets, commissioning procedures and operating manuals.
• Participate in design reviews and process safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) and produce control philosophies.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, shipyards, shipowners and classification societies to resolve technical issues and support testing, commissioning and project delivery.
