Job summary

Ecruit is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a Hampshire-based role focusing on gas and hydrocarbon processing at a major COMAH site. You will lead energy transition projects, including hydrogen storage and related compression and capture initiatives, ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will collaborate across design, operations and development to deliver projects from concept to commissioning, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• 5+ years in a senior engineering role preferred; oil/gas/hydrocarbon background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of NGL and hydrogen-related projects.
• Support upgrades to existing systems for future energy demands.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for operations and maintenance teams.
• Develop project scopes, schedules and cost-effective delivery plans.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and COMAH.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers.
• Monitor and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets within the function.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements.
