Job summary

Siemens Healthineers at the Magnet Technology site in Oxfordshire seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead investigations and resolve complex engineering challenges, guiding teams to improve quality, productivity and reliability.

You will manage projects from concept through implementation, collaborate across functions, and explore digital technologies to deliver lasting value for patients and colleagues. Hybrid work optional after training.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent practical technical experience.
• Significant engineering experience in regulated, high-technology environments.
• Experience leading complex technical projects and delivering improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach.
• Ability to translate complex issues into practical, sustainable solutions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and resolve complex engineering challenges using structured problem-solving.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and promote best practices.
• Drive strategic improvement initiatives on quality, productivity and reliability.
• Manage projects from concept to implementation, including upgrades and tech introduction.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Service across lifecycle.
• Act as a technical stakeholder during development, industrialisation and support.
• Develop and optimise processes, technologies and solutions for future needs.
• Explore Industry 4.0, digitalisation and data analytics to boost performance.
• Ensure activities meet quality, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation to protect quality and continuity.
• Mentor colleagues and foster an environment of learning and development.
• Champion a zero-harm culture with prudent engineering decisions.
