Petrofac Process Engineer 3 - Contract

Petrofac is seeking a Process Engineer 3 for a 6-month contract based in Aberdeen, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.

The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.

Scope of Services:

• Provide engineering input to estimates for project work scopes
• Provide input to progress and planning meetings
• Participate in engineering review meetings such as HAZOP, LOPA, HAZID, etc.
• Specify modifications to existing equipment or purchasing new equipment, including:
• Pump systems
• Compressor packages
• Separation systems
• Chemical Injection skids
• ESD system modifications
• Metering packages
• Relief systems
• Provide technical expertise to resolve technical queries, ensuring design changes are captured via change control
• Produce calculations and participate in design reviews
• Produce discipline documentation for work packs
• Support safety case and performance standards, ensuring engineering activities do not compromise them
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry, international, and client codes and standards
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
• Check engineering deliverables from others

Contribute to production of discipline-specific engineering deliverables such as:

• P&IDs & PFDs
• Process Line Lists
• Technical Notes
• Calculations
• Datasheets
• Technical Reports
• Input to PEPs
• Cause and Effects Diagrams
