Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Process Engineer for a global chemical manufacturer in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on process design, optimisation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, working with engineering, maintenance and operations to resolve plant issues and deliver capital projects from concept to commissioning.

You will support process safety within a COMAH environment, contribute to safety reports, and participate in HAZOP, LOPA and other risk assessments, ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years in COMAH/high-hazard environments.
• Experience in process design, optimisation, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior engineering expertise across process design, optimisation, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
• Support process safety within a COMAH environment and contribute to safety reports.
