Job summary

YTL Construction UK is seeking a Senior Process Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of digester and sludge wastewater assets across the Wessex region. The role combines design input with hands-on site commissioning and handover to operations.

You will generate commissioning plans, collaborate with operations and civil teams, and supervise FATs/SATs while mentoring junior staff. A background in anaerobic digestion and COMAH environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing and commissioning anaerobic digester and sludge treatment assets in a COMAH environment.
• Degree in engineering or science (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical issues into clear terms and produce documentation.

Responsibilities

• Generate commissioning plans defining how assets will be tested and brought online.
• Coordinate with Operations and Civil teams to assess risks and impacts.
• Perform FATs and SATs with automation engineers.
• Test new process equipment to ensure safety and client requirements.
• Analyze process data to confirm site is operating as required.
• Train and handover new assets to operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
