Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Senior Process Commissioning Engineer for a site-based role in Avonmouth. You will develop and execute commissioning plans for new wastewater assets, manage safety, costs and resources, and coordinate interfaces across project teams, operations and suppliers.

The role requires extensive commissioning experience in UK wastewater projects, with exposure to anaerobic digestion and gas production processes. You will lead tests, start-up and performance optimisation on site.

Qualifications

• Extensive multi-year experience in process commissioning on large projects.
• Experience in process commissioning and wastewater within the UK water sector.
• Technical knowledge of anaerobic digestion processes and gas production is desirable.
• WAMITAB Level 4 is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commissioning plans for wastewater assets.
• Review PRAs and RAMS; manage commissioning costs and resources.
• Coordinate interfaces between project teams, operations, contractors and suppliers.
• Lead site readiness, pre-commissioning and testing activities (dry and wet).
• Oversee start-up, process optimisation and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulatory requirements.
• Provide health, safety and wellbeing leadership on site.
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability development.
