Job summary

Saffery LLP in Leeds seeks an experienced Personal Tax Senior Manager to support a growing team. You will manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, lead advisory projects and oversee tax planning, compliance and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years at Senior Manager level; CTA qualification desired.
• Experience handling private clients, including high net worth individuals and families.
• Ability to organise delivery of tax work and use initiative.
• Experience designing and delivering advisory work with tax legislation guidance.
• Proficient with computerised tax packages and delivering timely, accurate work.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills for partner meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify planning opportunities and oversee advisory project delivery.
• Assist with tax affairs for wealthy individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates.
• Manage relationships and tax affairs of high‑net‑worth private clients and families.
• Attend and lead client meetings to discuss advisory and compliance projects.
• Ensure technical competence and accuracy through review; budgeting and deadlines.
• Meet billing targets; monitor time and recovery; report to partners.
• Liaise with clients on day‑to‑day tax planning and issues.
