Pro‑Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Private Client Tax Manager in Manchester. You will manage a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, trusts and estates, delivering bespoke tax planning and advisory solutions across personal tax matters.

You will lead advisory projects on IHT, CGT and income tax, review returns, liaise with HMRC, and mentor junior staff while developing client relationships and pursuing business opportunities.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/ATT/ACCA qualifications recognised.
• Strong experience in private client tax within practice.
• Experience managing portfolios of high-net-worth and entrepreneurial clients.
• Sign-off of personal tax returns.
• Solid understanding of UK personal tax legislation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of HNWIs, entrepreneurs, families, trusts and estates.
• Be the primary client contact for a range of personal tax matters.
• Deliver tax planning and advisory projects including IHT, CGT and income tax.
• Review and sign off personal tax, trusts and estate returns.
• Develop long-term client relationships and cross-sell advisory services.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide commercially-focused advice.
• Mentor junior team members and review their work.
• Participate in client meetings and business development.
