Job summary

PRO TAX in the South Manchester area is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and estates, delivering bespoke tax planning and advisory solutions across personal tax matters.

You'll act as the main client contact, review personal tax returns and trusts, liaise with HMRC, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development while enjoying a competitive salary (£55,000-£65,000), benefits and a bonus.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA/ATT/ACCA qualifications.
• Experience in private client tax within practice.
• Experience managing HNW/entrepreneurial clients and signing personal tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of HNWIs, entrepreneurs, families, trusts and estates.
• Act as the primary contact for clients on personal tax matters.
• Deliver tax planning and advisory projects covering IHT, CGT and income tax.
• Review personal tax and trust returns, ensuring compliance.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide commercial advice.
• Mentor junior staff and review their work.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to business development.
