Job summary

Taxation is seeking an experienced private client tax professional to lead advisory work in a small team where your contribution counts. The role focuses on personal tax planning, inheritance tax, trusts, and bespoke wills.

You will oversee timely completion of tax projects, implement strategies to reduce liabilities, obtain HMRC clearances, and maintain strong client relationships with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experienced and qualified private client professional (including experienced managers through to directors).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the timely and effective completion of tax projects primarily focused on personal tax planning, such as Inheritance Tax, using Trusts, Family Investment Companies, and bespoke wills.
• Implement agreed strategies to reduce tax liabilities and identify further tax mitigation opportunities.
• Develop detailed project plans with clear timelines and deliverables.
• Review detailed tax analysis of projects being completed by other team members to ensure strict adherence to current tax legislation and ethical standards.
• Obtain HMRC clearances.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic tax advice and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise and develop more junior staff.
