Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a well-established law firm in the Northwich area, stepping into a genuine Head of Department succession plan.

You will manage a small private client team, handle wills, probate, trusts, LPAs, and Court of Protection matters, build client relationships and contribute to business development while mentoring junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• 3+ years PQE in Private Client matters.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Ambitious with leadership opportunities.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team and a varied caseload of: Wills, Probate & Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, Court of Protection matters (where appropriate).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development activities.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to the future development of the department.
