Job summary

QED Legal Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor or Private Client Partner for its Bury office. You will lead the Private Client team, manage wills, probate, and related matters, and drive growth with support from the CEO and marketing team.

The role offers immediate partnership potential, a strong workload, and a competitive salary up to £80,000, with autonomy and flexible but office-based work in Greater Manchester.

Qualifications

• 8+ years PQE in Private Client law.
• Currently at Partner level or seeking Partnership.
• Strong technical knowledge across private client areas.
• Able to lead, develop and manage a team.
• STEP qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy Private Client caseload (Wills, Probate, Trusts, Estate Admin, LPA).
• Develop and grow the firm's Private Client presence in Bury.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client care.
• Support business development and marketing to grow the department.
