Job summary

Henderson Scott seeks a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established Southwell firm. You will manage a broad private client caseload, including wills, probate, trusts and tax planning, while building lasting client relationships.

The role offers autonomy, a supportive team, and a strong local client base. Ideal candidates will be qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3–10 years' PQE, excellent client care skills, and a proactive, personable approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3–10 years' PQE in Private Client law.
• Confident managing own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and tax planning.
• Excellent client care and communication skills; proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse range of private client matters with minimal supervision.
• Provide clear, practical advice to a varied client base.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and contribute to the firm’s success.
• Assist in complex estate planning and tax-related matters as required.
