A well-established firm of solicitors in Kent, with over 70 employees, is seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their team at Partner level.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to oversee a busy and varied Private Client department based in Gravesend. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and manage a diverse portfolio of private client work.

The Senior Private Client Solicitor's Role

Responsibilities include managing all aspects of private client work, ensuring high standards of client service and legal expertise. The role involves handling complex cases such as:

• Estate and Care Fees Planning
• Wills and Will Writing
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection
• Trusts and Trust Administration
• Probate and Administration of Estates
• Inheritance Tax Planning and Investments
• Charities
• Deputyship

You will manage your own caseload efficiently and supervise team members, working with the Head of Department on strategic initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years' PQE in private client work, focusing on wills, trusts, estates, and tax issues
• Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
• Excellent client-facing skills and professional appearance
• STEP membership or ongoing STEP qualification efforts
