Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking a Senior Private Client leader in the East Midlands. The role targets an experienced Private Client Solicitor or FCILEx with 10+ years' PQE to lead a thriving team handling high-value matters for HNW individuals, landed estates, trustees and families.

The successful candidate will mentor juniors, drive business development and help shape the team’s strategic direction, enjoying a flexible and agile working culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' PQE as a Solicitor or FCILEx.
• Strong experience across trusts, estates, taxation and succession planning.
• Business development and relationship-building skills.
• Leadership and mentoring experience to develop junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on sophisticated private client matters, including inheritance tax planning, trusts, estate administration, succession planning, LPAs and Court of Protection work.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers while helping shape the future direction of the team.
• Play an active role in networking, business development and growing the practice.
