Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Psychologist to join the Mental Health Team at HMP Woodhill in Milton Keynes. The role involves providing high-quality clinical psychology services within a secure environment, including assessments, treatments, supervision and service development.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical, forensic or counselling psychology accredited by the BPS.
• HCPC registered as a practitioner psychologist.
• Post-qualification training in research methodology and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist psychological assessments using diverse data sources to reach a formulation.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for service users within mental health settings.
• Provide clinical supervision to team members and contribute to service development.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to risk assessment and governance.
