Job description

This is an exciting time for Stantec as we look forward to continuing our growth journey in Northern Ireland and our work on Northern Ireland Water's IF182 Professionals Services Framework. To support this growth, we are recruiting a Senior Principal Urban Drainage Modeller in Belfast. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a range of projects and join our reputable UDM team across the UK & Ireland.

In addition to local projects, you will support Southern Water's AMP8 Professional Services Framework, focusing on resilience and improvement schemes in the South of England. Responsibilities include designing nature-based solutions to enhance water quality, reduce overflows, and increase biodiversity, alongside hydraulic modelling, water recycling, and digital innovation.

You will work closely with Technical Specialists, Framework Managers, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to provide expertise and ensure projects meet standards for cost, schedule, and quality. The role involves managing multiple projects or large programmes, contributing to bids, and preparing cost estimates within our frameworks.

Your duties include planning, programming, and coordinating urban drainage projects, maintaining delivery excellence, technical governance, and best practices.
