Job summary
Nexperia is seeking a Senior Principal System Architect to define architectures for next-generation integrated power products, including SPS, Hot-Swap Controllers, eFuses, and MOSFET platforms. You will translate complex customer requirements into innovative concepts and specifications that deliver differentiated performance.
This role demands deep expertise in power semiconductors, system-level modelling, and cross-functional leadership across device design, packaging, validation, and product
Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 8-12 years experience in power semiconductors or power electronics.
- Experience with system-level power electronics architecture and modelling.
Responsibilities
- Define system architectures and product concepts for next-generation integrated power solutions.
- Translate system requirements into detailed MOSFET specifications, including efficiency and protection features.
- Define and validate gate driver interactions and switching performance.
- Develop system-level electrical, thermal, and performance models to evaluate feasibility.
- Collaborate with device design, packaging, validation, and product engineering teams.
- Support customer engagements and translate requirements into product solutions.
- Lead root-cause investigations to improve performance and reliability.
- Contribute to long-term technology roadmap and strategic direction.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring across multidisciplinary teams.
