Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior or principal structural engineer with strong experience in the design of low-rise housing. You will work closely with a Director, liaise with clients, and contribute to shaping the practice.

You will manage your own projects, attend site and client visits, and share your extensive knowledge with the existing team. A bonus is discretionary and a pension and health cash plan are provided.

Do you enjoy liaising with clients and building relationships, as well as the technical side of engineering?

Our client is seeking a seasoned engineer who has extensive experience in the design of low-rise housing.

They are looking for a senior or principal structural engineer who is good at more than just the technical side of the job. Yes, you will have the design experience, but you will also be a people person who is able to liaise with clients and have good business sense.

Most importantly, you will have experience managing your own projects, attending site and client visits, working with full autonomy. Whilst you will not manage a team, you will be expected to liaise with existing team and impart your extensive knowledge. If you have your own contact/client base, this would be an advantage.

You will work closely with a Director to contribute towards his vision for shaping the business practices, and he is open to listening to your ideas and moving the practice forward.
