Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established MEP Design Consultancy for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role in Birmingham. The successful candidate will lead projects and produce detailed drawings and calculations.

The role requires at least 4 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in Amtech, Dialux/Relux and Revit, and knowledge of British standards and BREEAM. Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a Project Lead across a range of projects
• Working collaboratively with other engineers and disciplines
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Producing detailed drawings and specifications
• Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them
• Producing mechanical calculations and providing guidance to other engineers where required
• Working on a variety of technically challenging projects across a range of sectors

Our client is a well-established MEP Design Consultancy with over 40 years of experience across the industry. They are looking to bring on board a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

This is a senior-level position for someone with a strong mechanical design background who is confident working independently, taking the lead on projects and supporting more junior engineers.
