Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment seeks a senior leader to oversee electrical design and delivery for building services projects in the UK. You will mentor teams, drive quality, and contribute to strategic growth while maintaining client relationships and technical leadership.

This role requires Chartered Engineer status (desirable), a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, and extensive UK-based experience with AutoCAD, Revit and IES.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng) desirable.
• Extensive experience in Electrical building services design within the UK construction industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES and other simulation tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness and experience with project budgeting and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development.
• Oversee resource planning and allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Support the Managing Director of Building Services in business development and strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Take responsibility for the design, specification, and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across a range of building services projects.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for all electrical designs, calculations, and reports.
