Overview:

We are seeking a range of High Speed Digital Electronics Engineers at various levels to join Leonardo in Newcastle.

Responsibilities:

• Design high-speed digital Printed Circuit Boards utilizing FPGA, Microprocessor, and high-speed interconnect technologies.
• Support the full hardware lifecycle from requirements analysis, design, unit testing, to system integration and acceptance testing.
• Document work products, manage configurations, and report on progress.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to solve complex system integration problems.
• Analyze system requirements and apply them to hardware design.
• Capture schematics and design high-speed serial communication links, understanding associated protocols and architectures.
• Integrate hardware, firmware, and software of Microprocessor-based designs.
• Follow structured hardware design processes, debug, test, and verify new designs, and support their integration.
• Liaise with component suppliers and communicate effectively across disciplines.
• Manage time and workload to meet project deadlines and budgets.
