Overview:
We are seeking a range of High Speed Digital Electronics Engineers at various levels to join Leonardo in Newcastle.
Responsibilities:
- Design high-speed digital Printed Circuit Boards utilizing FPGA, Microprocessor, and high-speed interconnect technologies.
- Support the full hardware lifecycle from requirements analysis, design, unit testing, to system integration and acceptance testing.
- Document work products, manage configurations, and report on progress.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to solve complex system integration problems.
- Analyze system requirements and apply them to hardware design.
- Capture schematics and design high-speed serial communication links, understanding associated protocols and architectures.
- Integrate hardware, firmware, and software of Microprocessor-based designs.
- Follow structured hardware design processes, debug, test, and verify new designs, and support their integration.
- Liaise with component suppliers and communicate effectively across disciplines.
- Manage time and workload to meet project deadlines and budgets.
