WSP Global Inc. in the United Kingdom seeks a Design Safety Compliance Lead / PD Rep to support major power and energy infrastructure projects. You will embed design risk management, safety in design, and governance from early development through delivery.

You will lead design risk activities, coordinate multidisciplinary reviews, and advise clients on best practices to reduce hazards while maintaining project objectives. Hybrid UK role with strong client engagement.

Qualifikationen

• Experience acting as a Principal Designer Representative or equivalent roles.
• Strong knowledge of Safety in Design and risk management processes.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and design reviews with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness balancing risk reduction with delivery needs.
• Experience in power, utilities, transmission, or major infrastructure sectors.

• Lead and coordinate design risk management activities during project development.
• Facilitate Safety in Design reviews and risk assessments with teams.
• Promote hazard elimination and risk reduction across projects.
• Coordinate communication between designers, clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide assurance on risk management processes across project teams.
• Support development of risk registers and design decision records.
