Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior and/or Principal Safety in Design Consultant to enhance project delivery capabilities. The role emphasizes strong knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and experience with the Principal Designer role under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Safety in Design or CDM professional with hands-on experience.
• Commitment to improving health and safety performance across construction projects.
• Experience within transportation or utilities, ideally with an understanding of design process.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing design-stage risk management information.
• Developing hazard-mitigation strategies with designers.
• Compiling compliance reports according to CDM and BSA requirements.
