Job summary

WSP is seeking Senior/Principal Safety in Design Consultants to strengthen our project delivery capability. You will work across multidisciplinary teams, provide independent client advisory on safety goals, and contribute to health and safety across workplace safety and compliance.

You will review design-stage risk, develop mitigation strategies, and support Building Safety Act compliance using our in‑house processes. A background in CDM 2015 and BSA 2022 is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Safety in Design or CDM professional.
• Hands‑on design experience with CDM 2015 and knowledge of BSA 2022.
• Experience in transportation, utilities, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Review design-stage risk information and advise on risk mitigation.
• Develop hazard mitigation strategies with designers.
• Produce compliance reports and ensure CDM/BSA alignment.
