Position Overview:

Join our growing environmental planning team with diverse projects transforming society.

We seek an experienced environmental planner to deliver complex projects in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and development. Our team, comprising 16 professionals across the UK, focuses on leading environmental planning and sustainability projects, including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA), risk management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

We provide extensive opportunities for professional and management skill development through mentoring, training, and investment in your growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects across UK sectors like energy, water, and sustainability.
  • Provide consultancy advice and develop client relationships.
  • Influence technical delivery within the team and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Engage with technical experts and designers on large, complex projects to meet environmental and sustainability objectives.
Office Locations:

Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol

Qualifications:
  • Experience in assisting, coordinating, and leading EIAs and/or SEAs.
  • Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • Relevant professional memberships or qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and EIA processes.
  • Proven project management skills, including meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Client relationship management and business development experience.
  • Proactive problem-solving and passion for sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK.
