Our Environmental & Sustainability team plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality environmental planning and sustainability services that support our clients’ projects while protecting and enhancing the environment.

We have in-house technical environmental teams and designers collaborating on a variety of projects across sectors. Position Overview:

Join our growing environmental planning team with diverse projects transforming society. We seek an experienced environmental planner to deliver complex projects across sectors like energy, infrastructure, and development. Our team of 16 professionals across the UK collaborates on projects involving environmental impact assessments, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

We support your growth through mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects across UK sectors including energy, water, and sustainability.
  • Provide consultancy advice and develop client relationships.
  • Influence technical delivery and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and designers on large projects to meet environmental and sustainability goals.
Office Locations:

Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol

Qualifications:
  • Experience in assisting, coordinating, and leading EIAs and/or SEAs.
  • Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
  • Relevant professional memberships or qualifications.
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and EIA processes.
  • Proven project management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach and passion for sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK.
