Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to deliver professional services to their large portfolio of customers. This role offers an innovative approach and a varied workload.

Responsibilities of the Principal Consultant:

• Lead small teams of consultants on larger assignments
• Conduct Net Zero and/or ESG-related gap analysis and governance reviews to meet customer requirements
• Undertake technical assignments such as carbon LCAs, climate resilience, and SBTi submission support
• Manage projects involving energy reduction and resource efficiency measures on client sites

Ideal Candidate:

• Recognised degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience at Principal level in a Net Zero and ESG consultancy role, leading project delivery
• Chartered Environmentalist status or post-graduate qualification
• Excellent communication skills (including webinars and speaking engagements)
• Thorough knowledge of current and emerging Net Zero and ESG legislation, frameworks, and standards
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and carbon LCA
