Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is helping an established contractor recruit a Senior Site Manager/Project Manager for prime residential projects in the South East of England. You will lead on delivering high-specification homes with values from £5m to £15m, overseeing safety, programme and quality across site teams and subcontractors.

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience on luxury residential schemes, and proficiency with planning tools.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading high‑value residential projects.
Strong leadership and technical knowledge in prime residential construction.
Commercial awareness with ability to manage programme and change.
Proficient in project planning tools (Asta Powerproject / MS Project).
Certifications including SMSTS and First Aid are desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring delivery to programme and quality standards.
Manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist trades to drive performance.
Oversee construction programmes, logistics, sequencing and resource planning.
Maintain health and safety standards and quality control procedures.
Monitor progress, manage variations and support commercial objectives.
Build relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Identify risks and resolve technical or construction challenges.
