• Registered Nurse with evidence of CPD and understanding of multi-agency working.
• Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments preferred.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wayland, a category C Prison near Thetford, Norfolk.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team that supports your success.

Hours

Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 19:30

Weekends and Bank Holidays - 08:30 - 17:30

Salary

This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £47,466, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse-led services and prevent hospital admissions
• Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, respond to emergencies, assess patients, and conduct reception screening
• Provide evidence-based, personalized care, listening to and acting on patient feedback
• Build strong links with partners and stakeholders, ensuring a trustworthy and safe service
• Promote best practice, clinical supervision, and continuous improvement
• Share knowledge and skills within multidisciplinary teams
