Job summary

IGA Talent Solutions seeks a Senior Pricing Data Scientist to join our insurance analytics and pricing transformation practice in the UK. You will blend technical data science with commercial insight to enhance pricing capabilities for leading insurers, MGAs and Lloyd’s market organisations.

You will develop predictive pricing models, explore AI/ML capabilities, and support governance, data sources, and pricing sophistication across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in General Insurance pricing or data science.
• Strong understanding of pricing principles and portfolio management.
• Exposure to pricing transformation or analytics modernisation on large-scale changes.
• Experience with insurers, consultancies or insurtech organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pricing analytics and data science projects across the General Insurance market.
• Develop predictive pricing models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Support pricing transformation initiatives including process optimisation, governance and operating model design.
• Identify new data sources and approaches to risk segmentation and pricing sophistication.
• Advise on pricing technology, automation and analytics solutions.
• Translate complex analytical findings into actionable commercial insights.
• Collaborate with actuaries, data engineers and senior stakeholders to deliver pricing solutions.
• Contribute to business development activities, proposals and client presentations.
