Job summary

hireful in London is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst or Pricing Lead to join a global insurance provider's Risk Pricing team. Hybrid work—office one day a month—allows broad commutability across the UK.

You will build and improve pricing models using GLMs and ML, and shape pricing decisions to drive growth and profitability. Expect to work with Python, R, SQL or SAS, and tools like Emblem, Radar, and Excel VBA, taking ownership of model sophistication and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in general insurance pricing, ideally personal lines.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets using Python, R, SQL or SAS.
• Great attention to detail and a track record of hitting deadlines.
• Confident stakeholder management and the ability to explain technical work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Building and improving risk pricing models using GLMs and more advanced machine learning techniques
• Driving R&D and feature engineering to keep raising the sophistication of the team's models
• Monitoring expected loss ratios, risk mix and pricing assumptions, and turning findings into clear, actionable insight for the market pricing team
• Helping shape the processes and documentation that keep pricing outputs accurate and transparent
