Job summary

Medical Protection Society is seeking a Senior Pricing and Data Science Analyst for the UK&I region, based in Leeds or London with hybrid work (2 days on site). The role leads complex pricing models, analytics and pricing governance, driving data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration with underwriting and commercial teams.

You will mentor junior analysts and shape pricing strategy across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerical field with pricing/data science experience
• Strong pricing, analytics and data science principles in a commercial setting
• Advanced Excel and SQL with large datasets

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, system-driven pricing and analytic solutions
• Productionise models and implement changes safely and efficiently
• Deliver insights and pricing recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Own renewal performance monitoring and KPI analysis
• Build and maintain pricing insight tools for operational teams
• Analyse pricing variance and guide discount governance
• Design tools/frameworks to support pricing decisions for high-value segments
• Apply elasticity modelling to pricing strategy and planning
• Partner with underwriting and commercial teams in planning cycles
• Mentor junior analysts and raise team capability
