Job summary

Munich Re London Branch seeks a Pricing & Analytics lead to drive data governance across UK Underwriting and Product data, develop MI dashboards, and oversee pricing outputs for delegated authority products.

You will collaborate with Underwriting and Product teams in London and Munich, manage a skilled team, and deliver insights for senior management while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong data practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in personal lines pricing roles within the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of pricing and underwriting performance.
• Strong data governance and data quality management experience, with hands-on data analytics experience and relevant software training (e.g. SQL, Python, Power BI)
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining MI dashboards and leading data initiatives, ideally within an insurance or financial services environment.
• Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical abilities and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative team player, and highly motivated.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business, including senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Pricing and Analytics team, ensuring data quality and governance across UK Underwriting and Product Team data.
• Lead development and maintenance of internal MI dashboards and data initiatives for senior management and stakeholders.
• Oversee and review pricing of DA products, including analysis of commissions and data governance.
• Review pricing models, product definitions, and data analytic techniques used in product approvals.
• Provide feedback on price and value during product reviews, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Support continuous monitoring for delegated authority business with strong data practices.
• Lead collaboration with Underwriting and Product Teams across London and Munich on analytics topics.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships and discuss performance and insights in quarterly meetings.
